Luis Metzger
Founder & CEO
Senior Full-Stack Engineer with 12+ years building applications that scale. Based in Denver, Colorado.
Luis is a family man with two kids. He built NestDuck because every finance app he tried was designed for one person โ not households. His wife and he needed something they could actually use together to manage a busy family's finances.
From late-night diaper runs tracked on one app to a mortgage payment on another, Luis lived the chaos of disconnected financial tools. So he built the one he wished existed.

Jose is newly married and building a life with his wife. As they plan for their future together โ saving for a home, combining finances, setting shared goals โ he realized the tools just aren't built for two people working as a team.
His project management discipline brings operational excellence to NestDuck. If Luis dreams it, Jose ships it โ on time and on budget. His FinTech perspective from the operations side ensures every feature actually works in real life.
Every finance app we tried was built for one person.
